Mr Afzaal Mughal
Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Beacon Hospital, Dublin, and UPMC Kildare Hospital.
Approach to care
Mr Mughal believes good surgery starts with a good conversation. He takes time to explain each diagnosis, the options available, including when surgery is not needed, and what recovery will involve, so that every plan is agreed together.
